As part of a $119 million investment in its primary steelmaking operations at ArcelorMittal Dofasco Inc., JNE Consulting was actively involved with the overall project management of a baghouse, from detailed engineering, contract administration, construction management and QA/QC for the equipment procurement and installation. The overall project was anticipated to increase slab capacity by 25% to 5 million tons. The purpose for the project was for a steelmaking hot metal charging upgrade.
